Software Engineer III, Managed Airflow

Google develops next-generation technologies that affect billions of users, focusing on large-scale systems, AI, distributed computing, and cloud products. Managed Airflow provides a managed, reliable, and secure workflow platform for orchestrating data processing, mainly for Google Cloud Platform and other public clouds. The team is rapidly growing and focuses on big data processing and distributed cloud solutions. Google Cloud helps organizations digitally transform with enterprise-grade solutions across 200+ countries.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience using Java or Python, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Preferred: Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with distributed system development.
• Experience in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Spanner, and CloudSQL.
• Experience with data analytics, data processing, data warehouses, data lakes, and BI.

• Design, implement, and launch new product features and components.
• Participate in monitoring and debugging production issues.
• Participate in resolving customer issues related to Managed Airflow usage and improve the product.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Communicate well with other team members.
