Software Engineer III, AI Infrastructure Security

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users, spanning areas such as information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile. The team is building an on-premises AI supercomputer, the next evolution of Google's AI accelerator hardware, catering to customers with sophisticated security and locality requirements. This role is part of the security team ensuring security for Alphabet, partners, and global customers delivering critical missions. Google Cloud offers enterprise-grade solutions worldwide, enabling digital transformation across industries.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice to have:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience in Infrastructure Design.
• Experience in Full-Stack Development.
• Experience in developing/designing security features and solutions.

• Write product or system development code.
• Work closely with Security teams inside of Google, Partners and Customer teams.
• Develop Operating System and Hardware security features.
• Design security solutions within the scope of the broader area.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
