Software Engineer III, Embedded, Pixel Kernel and Codebase

The Google Pixel team designs and builds premium Android mobile devices and services. They focus on developing the whole software stack for future smarter Android devices, from SoC bringup to platform, aiming to create advanced and transformative user experiences integrating AI, software, and hardware worldwide.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 4 years of experience with software development in C/C++.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in development, testing, and deployment of Android Board Support Package (BSP).

• Plan, develop, and manage the productive Software Codebase and Infrastructure for various Pixel devices.
• Engage and integrate new Android and Kernel features to Pixel devices for customers.
