Network Engineering Manager [M/F]

You will join a team responsible for the development, maintenance, and delivery of network technology services for clients and organizational needs. As Head of Network Technology, you will manage a team of specialists, support their competency development, and co-create the direction of service and technological solution development. This role merges team management, responsibility for IT environment quality and security, and collaboration with clients and other technical teams.

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a technical team or IT department.
• Experience managing a team of network engineers.
• Practical knowledge of Cisco network technologies, especially routing, switching, and basic security solutions.
• Ability to conduct technical discussions with teams and clients and make technological decisions.
• General knowledge of server infrastructure, operating systems, and backup solutions.
• Ability to understand dependencies among network environments, infrastructure, operating systems, and applications.
• Ability to cooperate effectively with business and technical clients and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Skills in team work planning, priority management, and decision-making.
• Capacity to combine strategic thinking with efficient operational management.
• Independence, responsibility, and focus on the development of people and services.
• Creativity, initiative, and readiness for seeking non-standard solutions.
• Proficiency in Polish and English at minimum B2 level.

• Managing the Network Technology Department and organizing its daily work.
• Building an engaged team, developing employee competencies, and supporting their goal achievement.
• Planning and efficient resource utilization, collaborating with Project Managers for specialist allocation.
• Managing a team of network engineers and supporting service and competency development in network technologies.
• Coordinating IT environment maintenance and development activities with other teams (AIX/Linux/Oracle/Microsoft and business application teams like Symphony GOLD).
• Supervising availability, performance, and security of IT environments.
• Coordinating incident handling and ensuring service continuity.
• Initiating and implementing organizational improvements and new technological solutions.
• Building partnership relations with clients and conducting substantive technical discussions.
• Supporting technical decision-making and developing solutions to meet client and organizational needs.

Only candidates with proficiency in Polish and English at minimum B2 are considered. The position requires at least 3 years of management experience in technical teams or IT departments.
