Senior Data Engineer with German | f/m/d

• Fluency in English and German.
• University degree in natural sciences, (applied) mathematics, computer science, business informatics, or related field.
• Sound knowledge and experience in data modelling, data visualization, scalable data management, ETL processes, data pipelines, and practical MLOps production.
• Knowledge of programming, scripting, and database languages (e.g. Python, Spark, SQL), version control systems (e.g. GitHub), and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS).
• Willingness to innovate, proactive work style, and ability to work networked to develop and deploy (Gen)AI and LLM technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing data- and AI-driven solutions based on classical ML models, LLMs, RAG architectures, and agent-based systems.
• Preferably industry experience in insurance.
• Willingness to travel.

• Develop and implement strategic digitalisation projects to gain competitive advantages using AI across the insurance value chain.
• Prepare and integrate large volumes of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for (Gen)AI solutions.
• Contribute to productive deployment and operation of machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions (MLOps), focusing on structured and unstructured data use cases.
• Design, implement, and operate scalable data-management and (Gen)AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Support and advise operational units in using results for initial development and enhancement of machine learning and (Gen)AI applications.
