Azure Platform Engineer

Euvic S.A. is recruiting an Azure Platform Engineer for their Cloud Department to develop, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments. The role focuses on infrastructure management, security, automation, monitoring, and supporting teams using the cloud platform.

• Experience managing Microsoft Azure services.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Availability Sets, and Availability Zones.
• Experience with identity and access management using RBAC, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Azure networking services, including VNet Peering, VPN Gateway, NSG, and routing.
• Experience with Azure Storage, data replication, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools and creating alerts and workbooks.
• Security experience using Azure Defender and Azure Key Vault.
• Automation skills with PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates and basic Bicep.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and cloud cost management.
• Ability to collaborate with DevOps, Security, and application teams.

Nice to have:

• Advanced knowledge of Bicep or basic Terraform.
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience creating runbooks and advanced automation processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic FinOps and cloud cost analysis knowledge.

• Managing and developing Microsoft Azure services, including scaling virtual machines and ensuring high availability.
• Administering identity and access management using RBAC, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Managing Azure networking services, including VNet Peering, VPN Gateway, NSG, and routing.
• Handling Azure Storage services, data replication, and lifecycle management policies.
• Monitoring Azure environments by creating alerts, workbooks, and troubleshooting.
• Implementing and maintaining security measures with Azure Defender and Azure Key Vault.
• Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates and Bicep.
• Performing backup, disaster recovery, and recovery testing.
• Optimizing Azure costs through tagging, budgeting, and resource utilization.
• Collaborating with DevOps, Security, and application teams.

Work is fully remote and has two shifts: 8:00-16:00 and 16:00-24:00. Knowledge of Polish and English languages is required.
