Senior Software Engineer (Backend/REST)

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development
• Commercial experience with Rust
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems
• Experience working with Apache Kafka
• Experience with Redis
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Good understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous communication patterns
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience in IoT, industrial systems, or edge computing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers beyond Kafka

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Rust
• Build and evolve microservice-based architectures
• Develop scalable and resilient services for processing and exchanging data across distributed systems
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
• Work with Redis for caching and high-performance data access
• Deploy and maintain applications running on Kubernetes
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing solutions
