Senior Quantum Technologies Agile Project Manager

Client is a leader in cutting-edge quantum research and cybersecurity, working on quantum-safe initiatives supporting HSBC’s digital security and innovation.

• At least 5 years experience as an Agile Project or Delivery Manager in complex, cross-technology programs.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies in regulated environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA and advanced reporting capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with technical and executive audiences.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks, and milestones across multiple teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, controls-driven setting.

Nice to have:

• Experience delivering quantum-safe, cryptography modernization, or deep-tech transformations.
• Background in cybersecurity engineering and control environments.
• Prior experience working within financial institutions such as HSBC.
• Experience coordinating vendor-led engineering projects in Agile contexts.

• Lead delivery of quantum technology initiatives using Agile methodologies with detailed plans and metrics aligned to organizational OKRs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, remove obstacles, and report progress transparently.
• Manage dependencies across teams and third-party vendors for cryptography modernization and quantum-safe outcomes.
• Facilitate prioritization and decision-making ensuring compliance with HSBC governance.
• Develop management dashboards, reports, and maintain audit trails to support programme governance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate strategic priorities into actionable backlogs and delivery roadmaps.
• Engage stakeholders across senior technical and non-technical audiences, managing escalations.
• Oversee risk assessments, vendor coordination, and project mitigation strategies ensuring alignment with security standards and transformation goals.
