Senior Java Developer

Jit Team is a Polish IT company employing over 770 experts and delivering innovative IT solutions in highly specialized teams. They have a long-term partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, involving more than 200 personnel working on over 60 projects for a Norwegian global financial services provider. The collaboration is characterized by a Scandinavian organizational culture focused on work-life balance and feedback, with all projects executed in international teams using English.

• At least 5 years of experience in both development and testing activities
• Strong experience in Java 21+, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot 3.x, Spring WebFlux, Hibernate, Git, Maven, and Jenkins
• Experience working with Oracle DB, DB2, and SQL databases
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and modern software engineering practices
• Proven experience with test automation, including unit, integration, API, and performance testing
• Experience with JUnit 5, Cucumber, and WireMock
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk
• Experience using AI tools in software development workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Reactive Programming
• Experience in frontend development
• ISTQB Foundation Certification
• Knowledge of Gherkin

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting digital banking platforms
• Take ownership of backend testing activities within an agile team to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical solution design
• Support analysis activities by translating business needs into effective technical solutions
• Utilize AI-powered tools in daily development, testing, and delivery processes
• Contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle including design, implementation, improvement, and operational support
• Work within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver customer-focused digital banking services

Work model is hybrid from Warszawa with 3 days per week from the office.
