Google operates a Core team responsible for the kernel and operating system (CoreOS) that runs on all of Google's production machines. The team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, developing central solutions and influencing technical decisions across the company.
Wymagania
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management, process improvement, and agile methodologies.
- 8 years of experience leading projects through the full software development lifecycle.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of program management experience focused on Operating Systems, software development, and delivery.
- Experience in Linux Kernel development.
- Experience with information security incidents, threat assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security research.
- Knowledge of encrypt/decrypt algorithms or security software stack design.
- Understanding of operating systems internals, including kernel security and memory protection mechanisms.
Obowiązki
- Partner with engineering leads and product management in CoreOS to develop strategic roadmaps and execution plans for NodeOS and Kernel security.
- Lead cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and execute software programs that improve Kernel and OS scalability and security.
- Drive operational processes and provide leadership to monitor, prioritize, and resolve production issues, including kernel security vulnerabilities.
- Track execution progress, communicate progress and blockers to leadership and stakeholders, and drive strategic and tactical decisions.
- Represent programs and engineering teams in execution and program review forums.
Benefity
- Salary range in Poland: 440,000 to 451,000 PLN.
- 20% bonus target.
