Geospatial Applications Analyst | ArcGIS | JavaScript

From Poland With Dev is an international team focused on developing geospatial applications for a long-term project for a European Union institution based in Warsaw. They collaborate with analysts, operational teams, and decision makers, emphasizing close partnership and work-life balance.

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience (excluding studies)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS application development, ArcGIS Development, Geospatial Software Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong practical knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, geocatalogs, metadata management, and GIS web services
• Practical experience with ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition), ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, ArcGIS REST API, and OGC services
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Angular, Vite, Web Components
• Programming experience in Python (ArcGIS API for Python, ArcPy) and C#
• Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS for application lifecycle management and technical documentation
• Openness to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies

Nice to have:

• GIS, ArcGIS, geospatial, programming, or cloud-related certifications

• Configure and manage web mapping applications and GIS services
• Design, publish, and optimize GIS services hosted on ArcGIS Server
• Develop geospatial applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition) and ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
• Integrate GIS services with business applications and corporate systems
• Customize ArcGIS Portal applications to support data visualization and analysis for decision-making
• Create and maintain geocatalogs of maps, datasets, and geospatial applications
• Collaborate in creating and validating web map dictionaries, taxonomies, and metadata structures
• Develop and optimize geospatial workflows, tools, and processes based on user needs
• Develop and maintain geoprocessing scripts and automation solutions in Python
• Provide ad hoc support for geoprocessing tools developed in Python and C#
• Maintain application code and technical documentation in Azure DevOps / TFS repositories
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders

• Required higher education in geography, geoinformatics, GIS, computer science, software engineering, or related fields
• English language proficiency minimum B2 with certification or language audit before onboarding
• Citizenship of the European Union
• Willingness to undergo EU Restricted (RESTREINT UE / EU RESTRICTED) security clearance within first 45 days; clearance process does not block starting work
• Current criminal record certificate from the National Criminal Register valid up to 6 months
• Data processing and privacy information detailed as per GDPR compliance and recruitment process requirements
