Senior Frontend Developer

Shiji is a global technology company providing innovative cloud-based solutions for the hospitality industry, including property management, point-of-sale, guest engagement, distribution, payments, and data intelligence used by over 91,000 hotels worldwide.

• Minimum 5 years' experience as JavaScript or Front-End Developer
• Advanced understanding of JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript
• Experience with React, including React Hooks
• General awareness of web application performance best practices
• Experience working with or contributing to JavaScript-based build systems (e.g., Babel, Webpack)
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Jest, Enzyme, and Web Components
• Interest in testing, code review, and maintaining code quality

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ember.js

• Develop software features based on visual mockups and UX descriptions
• Write tests and contribute to development infrastructure
• Review code and deliver high-quality, performant code
• Follow SOLID principles and best practices in software development
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure user-friendly application design
• Use GitLab for code synchronization, merge requests, and CI/CD
• Use Docker and Docker Compose for local development and deployment
• Create internal NPM packages and design systems to avoid repetition
• Participate in Agile workflows including planning, refinements, and retrospectives
