ServiceNow Developer (space industry)

Sopra Steria is one of the largest players in the tech industry in Europe, known for consulting, digital services, and software development. The Polish branch operates in Katowice since 2007 as the Global Delivery Center with around 1,000 specialists. The Digital Platform Services department specializes in cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup/storage, networking, and security. The Application Services department focuses on software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM, and ERP platform integrations for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
• Strong experience and deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM.
• Advanced JavaScript scripting skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively.
• Willingness for occasional business trips abroad and visits to the Katowice office.

Nice to have:

• Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-HRSD, CIS-ITOM).
• Experience with other ServiceNow modules, such as HRSD, SLO, ITOM, or similar.
• French language skills at B2/C1 level.

• Participate in ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Design, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, primarily within the ITSM module.
• Develop and maintain workflows, integrations, catalog items, business rules, script includes, and other custom platform components.
• Implement new functionalities and enhancements in accordance with business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Review, optimize, and refactor custom code to ensure performance, maintainability, and compliance with ServiceNow best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases, including testing and validation activities.
• Monitor and maintain integrations and APIs to ensure reliable platform operations.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance platform functionality, performance, and user experience.
