Senior Software Engineer, Android, Chrome Identity

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users worldwide. The Chrome Identity team in Warsaw focuses on mobile platforms, primarily Android, and involves feature development visible in Chrome user interfaces such as the account menu and profile picker. The project offers collaboration opportunities across Chrome and Google and contributes to Chrome’s long-term success.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years developing for mobile operating systems (Android).
• Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI.
• Preferred: 5 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience with mobile or desktop development.
• Preferred: Experience leading a small software engineering team for over one year.
• Preferred: Ability to iterate approach for complex features to large user bases.

• Set technical directions for a small team of engineers.
• Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and launch phases of projects.
• Work with UX/Product Manager peers to refine product requirements.
• Make critical coding contributions ensuring project success.
• Coordinate design and development efforts with adjacent teams.
• Utilize AI tools to expedite software development practices.
