Snowflake Data Engineer

• Hands-on developer in data warehousing and ETL
• Hands-on development experience in Snowflake including data modelling (roles, schema, databases, security policies)
• Experience with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and stages
• Experience in data integration using third-party tools like Matillion, Palantir, Informatica, DBT
• Preferable knowledge of advanced Snowflake concepts like resource monitors and performance tuning
• Develop pipelines for batch and real-time/stream analytics on structured and unstructured data
• Experience with data ingress, egress, querying using Kafka, NiFi
• Deep understanding of AWS S3, Lambda, EMR, Glue
• Knowledge of data processing patterns, distributed computing, and application building for analytics
• Experience handling large data sets with various SQL and NoSQL databases and programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python
• Good understanding of file formats (ORC, Parquet, AVRO) for query and compression optimization
• Knowledge and skills in DevOps and containerization; deployment knowledge is preferable
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Language skills: Polish and English

• Develop & deploy big data pipelines in a cloud environment using Snowflake cloud DW
• Design, develop and migrate ETL routines from on-premises to Cloud Service
• Interact with senior leaders to understand business goals and contribute to workstream delivery
• Design and optimize model codes for faster execution
