Senior Software Engineer, Vertex AI, Workbench

Google Cloud develops AI/ML software engineering solutions, focusing on enterprise AI services such as Vertex AI Notebooks and advanced models. The ML, Systems, and Cloud AI (MSCA) organization manages infrastructure supporting Google services and Cloud, emphasizing security, efficiency, and reliability.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years experience with full stack development using back-end languages such as Java, Python, GO, or C++, and front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 3 years experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year experience with software design and architecture.
• Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Preferred: 5 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Preferred: Experience in a technical leadership role.

• Design and implement developer tools and platforms for Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers.
• Lead technical execution of major product initiatives to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with customers to enhance user experience.
• Balance product thinking, development, and continuous delivery with a bias for action.
