Solution Engineer

Andersen is hiring for a project building a cloud-native data platform that supports scalable data processing, analytics, AI, and business intelligence solutions. The customer is a global investment management firm focused on innovation, responsible investing, and operational excellence. The project involves developing reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines, data products, and integrations on AWS and Snowflake to support enterprise-wide analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.

• 7+ years of experience in software, solution, or data engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (core services and architecture)
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, optimization, governance)
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Experience building production-grade systems in enterprise environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Git workflows, Infrastructure-as-Code
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and data products
• Ability to work end-to-end from architecture to operations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders
• English language proficiency from upper-intermediate and above

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, ML Engineer)
• Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core or advanced)
• Experience with AWS AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock)
• Experience with RAG, agent-based AI systems, and responsible AI practices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development methodologies such as prompt engineering and evaluation loops
• Background in the financial industry
• Experience with data governance, risk, and regulatory environments

• Designing, building, and operating production-grade software and data solutions end-to-end
• Designing and implementing reliable, scalable, secure, and well-governed data pipelines and data products using AWS and Snowflake
• Modeling, curating, and optimizing Snowflake datasets, schemas, and data structures according to enterprise standards
• Applying strong software engineering practices including clean code, modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, secure development, and maintainable architecture
• Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions and identify opportunities for analytics and AI
• Using AI-assisted engineering to accelerate development tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Building cloud-native integrations and automation on AWS, utilizing compute, storage, networking, security, event-driven architectures, and managed AI services
• Owning deployment, release, and production operations including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, incident resolution, code reviews, and pair programming
