Senior Java Developer

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot development.
• Basic knowledge of COBOL and JCL, with willingness to develop mainframe skills.
• Experience with DB2 and MS SQL Server 2019+.
• Knowledge of IBM zOS and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, MQ, Tomcat Server, and networking technologies.
• Understanding of network security principles and certificate management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD lifecycle and tools such as Jenkins, Git, X-Ray, and SonarQube.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Docker.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Readiness to learn new technologies and work across diverse domains.
• Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in banking, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native monitoring, observability, or automation tools.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning and operational excellence practices.

• Maintain and develop Java 17+ and Spring Boot applications with security upgrades and minor enhancements.
• Support cloud and mainframe-based online and batch applications, resolve technical incidents.
• Perform recurring maintenance such as certificate renewals, application patching, compliance checks, and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues involving databases, middleware, networking, and security.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and platform reliability while continuously learning new technologies and operational practices.
