Regular Java Developer

Our Client dominates the Polish e-commerce arena as the market leader since 1999 with a user base of over 20 million. The Client has a talented IT team of over 1,000 employees focusing on developing their own cutting-edge technologies. Jit Team has partnered with this Client since spring 2021, running multiple autonomous software development teams using microservices architecture. The project involves developing the "Oferty Promowane" product on the Allegro platform with quarterly visits to Warsaw/Poznań offices.

• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience working with microservices architecture
• Ability to design, create, test, and maintain high-quality code for backend services, APIs, and automation scripts
• Experience designing and developing architectures for new projects and improving existing approaches
• Collaboration with product managers, data analysts, UX designers, and other engineers for requirements gathering and clarification
• Coordination of team project tasks
• English language proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
• Familiarity with cloud solutions, preferably GCP

• Design, create, test, and maintain high-quality code for backend services, APIs, and automation scripts
• Design and develop architecture of new systems and improve existing solutions
• Work within a microservices architecture
• Collaborate with product teams, data analysts, UX designers, and other engineers to clarify requirements
• Coordinate tasks within team projects
• Be available for on-call duty two weeks per quarter
