QA Lead

The client is a fintech institution operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, focused on modernising its digital capabilities and expanding its offering for micro-SME customers. It aims to deliver fully digital, user-friendly banking experiences deeply integrated with day-to-day business needs. The project is a greenfield fintech platform development for a financial institution in the banking domain, focusing on building secure, compliant, and high-quality financial products with strong emphasis on unified testing standards and comprehensive test coverage.

• Proven experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or Test Manager in large-scale software projects
• Experience in the financial services or banking domain with knowledge of transactions, compliance, data integrity, and security testing
• Experience defining QA strategy, testing standards, and quality gates
• Experience coordinating QA work across multiple teams or squads
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, exploratory
• Experience with UAT planning and coordination
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Availability to work hybrid (3 days per week) in Warsaw, Kraków, Tricity, or Rzeszów

Nice to have:

• Experience with test automation strategy
• Familiarity with Java, Spring, Flutter, React stacks
• Experience with greenfield projects and building testing processes from scratch
• Experience with API testing tools and database validation
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud-native testing

• Define and own the overall QA strategy, testing standards, and quality gates for the entire project
• Establish testing processes, tools, and documentation standards for a greenfield build
• Coordinate and guide QA Engineers across all squads to ensure consistent test coverage and quality
• Plan cross-squad and end-to-end testing including integration, regression, and UAT preparation
• Ensure testing covers financial domain aspects such as data integrity, transaction correctness, security, and compliance
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and Delivery Managers to integrate QA into delivery processes
• Track and report quality metrics including defects, test coverage, and release readiness
• Support UAT planning and execution
• Communicate quality status, risks, and recommendations in English to project leadership

Candidates must be available to work from the office 3 days per week in Warsaw, Kraków, Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia/Sopot), or Rzeszów. Each entire squad must be from a single location with no splitting of squad members across cities. Fluent English is required for communication.
