Customer Engineer Security, Google Cloud Security Sales

Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade cloud solutions focused on digital transformation, serving customers in over 200 countries. This role supports cybersecurity growth in the EMEA North market covering the Nordics, CEE, and DACH regions.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in security or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or technical sales engineering role.
• Experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) and cybersecurity issues.
• Fluent English communication skills for public speaking and technical presentations.
• Preferred: Advanced education in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: Cloud or Security industry certifications.
• Preferred: Experience engaging and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders (e.g., CISOs, CIOs).
• Preferred: Presales and implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, AI, and architecture designs.
• Preferred: Broad product and solution knowledge of cybersecurity industry trends such as ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust.
• Preferred: German language skills at B2 level for engaging German-speaking customers.

• Work with Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and prototype advanced integrations within complex customer and partner environments.
• Architect and recommend comprehensive integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and AI-ready infrastructures to implement Google Cloud Security solutions.
• Act as a public advocate and thought leader for Google Cloud Security at customer sites, industry conferences, and events.
• Understand complex customer technical objections and develop AI-driven solutions to resolve blockers for enterprise accounts.
• Advocate the missions of "AI for Security" and "Security for AI," building technical relationships, leading technology advocacy, bid responses, and proof-of-concepts, partnering with product management to shape future solutions.
