Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go)

Our customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain. The company provides a diverse portfolio of customer-oriented solutions across multiple business areas and markets, focusing on digital capabilities, operational excellence, and long-term development. The project focuses on building and evolving a high-performance, scalable distributed platform developed in Go to support complex business operations and rapid product growth.

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on production experience with Go, including deep understanding of goroutines, channels, context, memory model, and concurrency patterns.
• Higher education in Computer Science or software development.
• Extensive experience with AI and implementing/configuring it within a team.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated/high-compliance domains.
• Proven experience designing distributed, microservice-based, or high-load systems.
• Strong expertise in API design (REST and/or gRPC), including versioning and backward compatibility.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), schema design, query optimization, and transactions.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Understanding system design principles: scalability, fault tolerance, security, observability (metrics, logging, tracing).
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and writing designs.
• Advanced English language proficiency.

Nice to have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, ClickHouse) or caching layers (Redis).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Event-Driven Architecture.
• Prior Architect, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer roles.
• Familiarity with additional languages (Java, Python, C++).
• Experience integrating AI/LLM components into production.
• Contributions to open-source Go projects or internal frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with SRE practices (SLI/SLO, error budgets, incident response).
• Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure architecture).

• Designing and evolving scalable distributed systems in Go, focusing on concurrency models, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to refine business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Anticipating edge cases, risks, and technical constraints during planning.
• Representing the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders, communicating technical topics clearly.
• Leading and performing code reviews to ensure code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Driving improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to enable faster, safer code delivery.
