Senior Production Support Engineer – Global Payments Solutions

Work for a leader in financial technology and global payments, delivering reliable, secure, and efficient payment processing services in a mission-critical environment supporting millions of transactions daily.

• 5+ years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL (Oracle), and Linux environments
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and components
• Proficient in shell scripting using Bash, Python, or Java for automation
• Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning techniques
• Experience with high-frequency change management, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Solid understanding of application layers: storage, OS, network, database, and applications
• Excellent fluent English communication skills
• Ability to triage under pressure with sound prioritization and decision making
• Background in Agile/DevOps environments supporting production systems

Nice to have:

• Experience in payments industry
• Knowledge of Python, Java
• Familiarity with Puppet, Ansible, or similar configuration management tools
• Experience with AppDynamics, Splunk

• Provide day-to-day production support including incident resolution and post-incident analysis
• Troubleshoot complex system issues in a high-pressure environment
• Install, configure, and support new software releases
• Develop and implement automation solutions using Shell Script, Java, Bash, or Python
• Support testing activities for new features and improvements
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to review and optimize processes
• Drive performance improvements via architecture analysis and process re-engineering
• Perform detailed data validation, reconciliation, and problem resolution
• Lead activities to enhance platform stability and service capabilities
