Forward Deployed Engineer II, GCC

Google Cloud specializes in AI and machine learning, focusing on embedding frontier AI products into enterprise customer environments. This role is part of their Go-To-Market team, working directly with strategic accounts to deploy and refine complex AI systems and shape Google Cloud's future product roadmap.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), generative AI agents, and DevOps.

Nice to have:

• Master’s or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience with multi-agent systems frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK) and complex patterns (e.g., ReAct, self-reflection, hierarchical delegation).
• Knowledge of LLM-native metrics and techniques for state management and tracing.
• Ability to implement secure agentic workflows with MCP, tool-calling, and OAuth authentication.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian, or other European languages for client support.

• Serve as lead developer for complex AI applications, transitioning prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code integration between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs and legacy data.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic systems.
• Identify and convert repeatable technical friction points into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to implement Google-grade development best practices.
