Automation Test Lead – Identity & Access Management (IAM)

This position is for a global leader in security and access systems within the financial services industry, focused on pioneering a transformational IAM program leveraging cloud-native solutions and Google Cloud Platform.

• Over 5 years of automation testing experience in IAM projects.
• Expertise in backend automation using Python and Pytest, including leadership roles.
• Experience testing functions and decision logic as code, including policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of event-driven platforms such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, queues, and batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with identity protocols and formats like SCIM, REST API, LDAP, OIDC, and CSV.
• Proficiency in policy-based testing frameworks: RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and PBAC.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, shift-left testing, and tools like GitHub.
• Expertise in cloud testing methodologies, particularly in Google Cloud Platform, with knowledge of AWS and Azure.
• Experience using test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
• Fluent English communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring in technical environments.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AI governance, explainability, and responsible AI.
• Experience with orchestration tools like n8n and Generative AI integrations.
• Testing experience with GraphDB (Neo4j), OPA/Rego, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Familiarity with containerized test execution and performance tools (e.g., NeoLoad, Gatling).
• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, GitOps, or session management services.
• Understanding of governance, auditing controls, and compliance testing.

• Define and maintain comprehensive test strategies including approach, environment, scope, risks, and resources.
• Lead automation testing efforts with standards for AI-driven test generation, analysis, and self-healing.
• Develop, execute, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for IAM applications.
• Validate functions, decision logic, and policy-as-code in cloud-native environments.
• Plan and oversee testing of APIs, Pub/Sub pipelines, cloud services, and policy compliance.
• Generate regulatory evidence and detailed progress reports for senior stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team engineers.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated tests, reporting, and notifications supporting shift-left testing.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define test scenarios, data, and acceptance criteria.
