Senior Digital Banking IT Analyst

The role is for a client who is a leader in online banking services, working on strategic technology initiatives to innovate digital banking experiences. Located in Warsaw, the position offers a hybrid work model with 5 days remote per week.

• Minimum 5 years experience as an IT Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
• Strong understanding of backend systems, system integrations, APIs, and data flows
• Experience analyzing dependencies, risks, and impact of changes across complex systems
• Proficiency in creating detailed analytical and technical documentation (BRD, HLD/LLD, ADR, diagrams)
• Skills in modeling business processes using BPMN, UML, or equivalent
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, and resilience
• Familiarity with analytical and delivery tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro or similar
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Polish, able to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working within Agile teams and environments

Nice to have:

• Background in banking, payments, or financial systems
• Knowledge of distributed, microservices, or event-driven architectures
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, messaging queues, and event-driven integrations
• Basic SQL skills or experience in data analysis to support requirements
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes
• Exposure to AI/LLM tools for documentation, requirements analysis, or analytical processes

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to refine requirements and assess their readiness for implementation
• Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications for IT teams
• Identify information gaps, system dependencies, risks, and potential impacts before technical delivery
• Analyze the influence of system changes on architecture, data flows, and integrations
• Co-create IT solution concepts with Architects, Tech Leads, and development teams
• Prepare and maintain analytical and technical documentation, including BRD, HLD/LLD, ADR, APIs, and architectural diagrams
• Create process models, sequence diagrams, context diagrams, and API specifications to support development
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities
• Assist in testing phases and acceptance to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations
