Test Analyst - STP Systems & Financial Services

Our client is a financial services organisation operating within the STP (Straight-Through Processing) domain. They focus on delivering reliable, high-performance systems that support critical financial operations. Working within an Agile framework, they foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and invest in continuous improvement initiatives.

• 8-10 years of software testing experience, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience within financial services environments.
• Proficiency in designing test cases for functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments, including sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.
• Proficiency with ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Skilled in defect tracking and triage using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with STP-related technologies such as MQ, SWIFT messaging, ISO 15022/20022, and middleware validation.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines in DevOps environments.
• Exposure to performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams.

• Work on critical STP systems within a financial services environment.
• Collaborate across multiple Agile squads on high-impact testing initiatives.
• Leverage tools including ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through an active Testing Community of Practice.
• Apply 8-10 years of testing expertise in a fast-paced, multicultural team.
• Participate in feature refinement sessions to ensure testability of requirements.
• Define test strategies and prepare detailed test plans for features and epics.
• Design and execute test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing using the STP Test Framework.
• Manage and triage defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and delivery owners to ensure delivery readiness.
