Test Lead - STP Applications & Agile Delivery

Our client operates within the financial services sector, specialising in straight-through processing (STP) solutions that support critical market infrastructure. They focus on quality, compliance and security standards including GDPR, CSDR and ISO frameworks, working on complex financial messaging systems including SWIFT.

• 8-10 years of experience in software testing within agile environments.
• Strong expertise in agile testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Proven experience with test management including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
• Domain expertise in financial services, STP, and SWIFT messaging systems.
• Proficiency with tools including JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, and SQL for data validation.
• Strong knowledge of documentation standards including test plans, test cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks including GDPR, CSDR, and ISO standards.
• Basic programming knowledge in .NET or Java.
• Experience with middleware testing including Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or ServiceNow.
• Awareness of security testing principles including OWASP and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience in knowledge transfer and documentation handover.
• Fluent English communication skills; French or Dutch is an asset.

• Lead testing strategy for financial services STP applications.
• Work within agile squads using Scrum, Kanban and SAFe methodologies.
• Drive automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Define and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and solution architects to ensure quality delivery.
• Monitor test execution, report defects, and drive resolution through to closure.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities.
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and agile KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and security standards including GDPR, CSDR, and ISO requirements.
