Cobol Developer

Klient z branży finansowej.

• At least 5 years of commercial experience with IBM Mainframe development and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 databases, including SQL development, query optimization, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing applications.
• Proactive and self-driven attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international project environment.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD practices within Mainframe environments.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors.
• Knowledge of Mainframe modernization and AI-driven software development solutions.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.

• Develop and maintain applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.
• Analyze business requirements and design effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing applications.
