AI Automation Engineer

The customer is an international mobility service provider offering a peer-to-peer travel negotiation app with global operations. The project focuses on developing AI and machine learning solutions for improving strategic planning, operational decision-making, automating goal management, optimizing resource allocation, capacity planning, and risk prediction.

• 4+ years of experience in AI automation engineering, software engineering, or automation development.
• Hands-on AI engineering experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude) and agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI).
• Experience with workflow automation tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Strong integration skills using Python, MySQL, REST APIs, webhooks, API contracts, and authentication.
• English proficiency at least Intermediate+.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jira data structures and metrics.

• Work as part of a parallel team on ML initiatives from problem definition to production.
• Build and iterate on ML models using historical data such as Jira, project metrics, and team performance.
• Automate data collection and aggregation pipelines across divisions.
• Develop lightweight backend services and integrations including REST API and webhooks.
• Validate business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in experiments, measure results, and contribute to scaling decisions.
• Collaborate directly with the engineering manager and business stakeholders.
