Senior iOS Developer – Banking and Fintech Expertise

Our client is a leader in banking technology, dedicated to delivering high-quality native iOS features within a regulated financial services environment.

• At least 5 years of experience developing native iOS applications in a commercial environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift and strong understanding of iOS fundamentals including app lifecycle, concurrency, and background execution.
• Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, and persistence mechanisms like Core Data.
• Solid knowledge of integration patterns, REST APIs, error handling, resilience strategies, and offline-first design.
• Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests using XCTest and XCUITest, including mocks and stubs.
• Practical understanding of Git workflows and Agile methodologies.
• Deep awareness of mobile security best practices for regulated environments.
• Knowledge of dependency injection and reactive programming frameworks such as Swift Concurrency, Combine, and RxSwift.
• Experience with observability tools for crash reporting and performance monitoring.
• Prior background in banking, financial services, or regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles in iOS development.

Nice to have:

• Certifications or additional skills in mobile security or UI/UX design.
• Experience with feature flags, A/B testing, or experimentation frameworks.

• Deliver end-to-end iOS features from discovery to release.
• Build and maintain native iOS components using Swift applying MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and API teams to develop scalable solutions.
• Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and refactoring.
• Implement secure-by-design practices including secure storage and authentication flows.
• Monitor and improve app performance, stability, reducing crashes and launch times.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release readiness.
• Mentor engineers and foster team capability through pairing and coaching.
• Maintain clear technical documentation including architecture decisions and runbooks.
• Collaborate across teams and time zones to manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance team efficiency without compromising quality or security.
