Professional Business Analyst

The role is part of the Polaris project focusing on transitioning Pay, Time & Benefits in small and mid-sized countries in EMEA and APAC to Workday and centralized payroll vendors involving 70+ countries. The position involves providing business analysis services within the Polaris Project, focusing on the Workday Time and Absence module and working with stakeholders in Payroll, Time, and Benefits programs. The goal is to understand business needs, improve processes, and ensure implementation teams deliver reliable, usable, and scalable solutions.

• Strong communicator and team player with multicultural acceptance and service orientation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or HR-oriented field
• 5+ years experience as Business Analyst, preferably within People & Culture area
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder alignment
• High familiarity with Workday modules, especially Time and Absence
• Strong analytical and coordination skills
• Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of achieving decisions and sign-offs
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, mainly in virtual environments
• Extensive IT project experience in small to midsize projects is a plus

• Drive and perform requirements gathering in the Time and Absence area, combining technical and business expertise
• Analyze business requirements and make recommendations
• Collaborate closely with Employee Life Cycle Management and Payroll, Time, and Absences teams during requirements gathering
• Identify gaps and propose solutions
• Facilitate and validate system and user acceptance testing
• Provide expertise in business process and/or data modelling
• Update relevant documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal security, risk management policies, and regulatory requirements
• Instruct Workday Time and Absence Configurators based on requirements and monitor implementation progress
• Support testing and hypercare phases of the Workday Time and Absence module
