Senior Java Developer

For one of our international clients, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to contribute to a technology product that will change the financial industry landscape. The position involves working in a talented, diverse team focused on innovative solutions in a highly secure application environment.

• Solid practical and theoretical knowledge of Java software development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Micronaut
• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Excellent understanding of AWS (deployment/configuration)
• Experience with message-driven architectures, Kafka, and event sourcing
• Experience delivering within an agile environment
• Experience working on highly secure application environments
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert and communicate clearly and empathetically to technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding how to translate business objectives into data-driven insights

• Deliver as a member of the mission team to build and develop the technology product
• Support and oversee junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert
• Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well-tested and easy to maintain and extend
• Work with stakeholders across the business
• Collaborate across the backend chapter to uphold standards and best practices, and to promote innovation
• Work collaboratively with the team to resolve technical issues
