Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

As part of the Reply group, Data Reply offers a wide range of services that support customers in becoming data driven. They operate in various industries and business areas, focusing on the development of data platforms, machine learning solutions, and streaming applications that are automated, efficient, and scalable while maintaining IT security.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Very good English and Polish; German skills are a plus.
• Experience designing and operating scalable, reliable cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure focusing on infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation; proficiency in Terraform is essential; knowledge of Terragrunt is a plus.
• Experience with containerization, cloud-native deployment, and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Required experience with Kafka; familiarity with Apache Flink and Java is nice to have.
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode with at least one office visit per month.

Platform Engineering:

• Build and operate a cloud-native streaming data platform on Azure using Kafka, Kubernetes, and GitOps.

Pipeline Engineering:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for automated deployments.

Infrastructure as Code Management:

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform.

Security and Compliance Implementation:

• Design and enforce secure cloud architectures using managed identities and least-privilege access.

Platform Operations and Optimization:

• Operate and optimize Azure environments for performance, cost efficiency, and high availability.
• Monitor using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and AppInsights.

Network Solutions and Connectivity:

• Design and support Azure networking infrastructure including DNS, Private Endpoints, Private Link, and VPN connectivity.

Cross-Team Collaboration and Enablement:

• Partner with development teams, customers, and vendors to facilitate integrations and resolve technical challenges.

Consulting and Strategy:

• Drive security initiatives, compliance programs, and serve as a technical consultant on cloud infrastructure.
