Senior Kubernetes Platform Support Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud

The role is within the Cloud Engineering Area of a leading financial institution, focused on maintaining and scaling their internal Kubernetes platform for containerization worldwide.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, operations, and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration principles
• Experience with Unix administration
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Experience with infrastructure as code
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Business-level proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Service Meshes

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the container platform infrastructure
• Collaborate in diagnosing and resolving IKP infrastructure issues
• Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Kubernetes platform
• Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, and integration failures
• Perform root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements
• Provide 24×7 support as part of an on-call rota, including weekend rotations
