- Degree (preferably Master's) in engineering science.
- Experience leading an engineering function and delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, and processes.
- At least 5 years of proven aeronautics engineering experience including design, stress calculations, testing, or other areas.
- Proven project management experience.
- Proven ability to build business relationships with positive feedback.
- Technical understanding of aviation processes, components, and design techniques.
- Fluent in English and Polish; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
- Understanding of Polish business environment with management experience in Poland.
Obowiązki
- Overall responsibility for the Engineering areas in Airbus Helicopters Polska, including people and technical management.
- Implement engineering strategy and operational goals to exceed quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Cultivate an environment of continuous learning and promote adoption of advanced engineering tools.
- Collaborate with Managing Director and Management Board in strategy development and implementation.
- Engage with Airbus Helicopters Engineering teams to deliver high-quality services and promote cross-site collaboration.
- Act as an escalation point for operational topics.
- Develop and align the engineering strategy with key stakeholders.
- Enhance project management and engineering skills across teams.
- Work closely with Airbus Helicopters leadership in France, Germany, and Spain.
- Contribute to business strategy and annual budgeting.
- Prepare and monitor engineering budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure proposals.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators to ensure projects meet cost, time, and quality standards.
- Ensure engineering strategies meet Airbus Helicopters' business objectives.
- Manage planning and prioritization of multi-disciplinary resource allocation.
- Create and implement engineering vision, strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Own engineering policies, guidelines, and documentation.
- Evaluate business challenges and mitigate risks while developing opportunities.
- Support cross-functional project management activities.
- Report engineering activities regularly to the Managing Director.
- Ensure quality and reliability standards are upheld.
- Develop organizational structure, resource plans, and culture supporting business objectives.
- Provide leadership, coordination, training, and coaching to teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage attendance.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are followed to maintain staff and visitor well-being.
Inne informacje
The job requires readiness to perform business travels primarily to France and Germany. Candidates must have perfect command of English and Polish; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
