Senior Data Architect (f/m/x)

Sii is hiring an experienced Senior Data Architect for a strategic data transformation initiative focused on building and governing a modern Azure-based Data Platform supporting enterprise-wide data products, analytics, and reporting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect or similar architecture leadership role
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and modern cloud data platforms
• Excellent knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks, streaming technologies, data integration patterns, Medallion architecture, and Data Product design principles
• Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, Apache Spark, and SQL
• Very good command of English
• A visit to the Wrocław office is required once every quarter

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power BI, API Gateways

• Define and govern end-to-end Azure data architecture, including data ingestion, integration, transformation, and Medallion architecture standards
• Lead design and development of scalable Data Products and guide engineering teams on best practices for ETL/ELT, streaming, and data integration
• Drive modernization of legacy reporting and data warehouse solutions, including migration from SSIS and SSAS to modern Azure architectures
• Provide architectural oversight for supplier-managed SaaS/COTS applications ensuring secure onboarding, compliance, and technical alignment
• Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to support platform evolution, security initiatives, and audit requirements
