SysOps Engineer

Andersen is hiring a SysOps Engineer in Budapest for a project supporting digital urban mobility solutions and improving the reliability of smart transportation platforms. The customer is a company providing technology-enabled operational services for organizations and public-sector partners, developing and managing large-scale solutions that support everyday service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience through digital platforms, infrastructure, and operational support. The project focuses on developing and enhancing digital solutions for public bike-sharing and urban mobility services, optimizing workflows, supporting fleet and infrastructure management, and improving sustainable transportation services across multiple cities.

• Experience as a SysOps / IT Support Engineer for 2+ years.
• Experience with hardware setup and device configuration.
• Experience with Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Ability to work remotely with onsite coordination.
• Comfortable with SLA-driven ticket workflows and disciplined on-call response.
• Ability to route/escalate tickets correctly and keep them updated.
• Reliable for on-call shifts; ability to follow runbooks and escalate appropriately.
• English language proficiency from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have:

• Experience with onsite IT support.
• Experience with inventory and device deployment.

• Preparing, configuring, and coordinating laptops, PCs, mobile phones, and printers according to internal procedures.
• Verifying Windows editions and coordinating Windows Pro license activation or upgrades.
• Installing and configuring Microsoft Office, Sophos, and other approved software.
• Supporting Microsoft Intune enrollment and coordinating device registration in Entra ID.
• Configuring Windows user profiles and assisting initial user login.
• Coordinating password and MFA resets with client administrators.
• Preparing and configuring mobile devices including applications installation, PIN setup, Company Portal installation, and enrollment.
• Supporting basic mobile device preparation activities including screen protector installation.
• Coordinating printer setup including placement, network connectivity, configuration, and testing.
• Tracking and managing support requests through the Service Desk portal.
• Providing regular status updates and coordinating request progress.
• Escalating activities requiring administrative privileges, licenses, credentials, MFA resets, or Entra ID permissions.
• Ensuring all support activities are delivered remotely, with onsite assistance only upon prior agreement.
