Business Analyst

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst for a project supporting enterprise transformation, business process modernization, and delivery of digital solutions. The customer is an international insurance company operating across multiple countries, focused on insurance transformation initiative with requirements analysis, solution design support, and collaboration between business and technical teams.

• Experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role for 4+ years.
• Experience with OutSystems platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in querying, analyzing, and validating data.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data models, and relational databases.
• Experience working within the Insurance industry (Property & Casualty, Commercial Insurance, Claims, Policy Administration, Underwriting, or related areas).
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
• Experience creating technical specifications, data mappings, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of insurance policy administration systems.
• Experience working with distributed international teams.
• Exposure to cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.

• Analyzing business and technical requirements within insurance domain projects.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
• Performing data analysis using SQL and supporting data mapping activities.
• Investigating existing systems, databases, and integrations to identify business and technical impacts.
• Creating functional and technical documentation, process flows, and data mappings.
• Working closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Supporting solution design activities involving OutSystems and Microsoft Azure-based platforms.
• Assisting in troubleshooting data-related and system integration issues.
• Participating in testing activities, validating requirements, and defect analysis.
• Ensuring consistency and accuracy of data structures across applications and integrations.
• Communicating effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
