Senior Software Engineering Manager, Emergent AI Infrastructure

Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions helping organizations digitally transform and solve critical business problems globally. The Emergent AI infrastructure team in Warsaw focuses on building next-generation on-prem AI infrastructure to empower AI advancements.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years technical leadership experience.
• 5 years people management or team leadership experience.

Nice to have:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years experience in complex, matrixed organizations.
• 5 years leading engineering teams building AI infrastructure.

• Lead Warsaw site teams adapting and creating hardware and software for Emergent AI products in collaboration with cloud teams.
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing strategic guidance and professional development.
• Partner with tech leads and managers across the organization to deliver impactful results.
• Coordinate distributed operations across the US, Asia, and Europe for AI Infrastructure product development.
• Participate in hardware/software strategy and support external customer needs and product issues.
