Network Security Systems Engineer

ITCARD S.A. operates in the fintech payments industry, focusing on protecting network infrastructure that supports critical payment processes. The company undertakes modernization projects and prioritizes system security in a dynamic fintech environment.

• Minimum 6 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in network security systems.
• Experience administering enterprise-class firewalls with high availability, including VPN tunnel termination and security policy configuration (L3-L7).
• Experience in high-security environments such as finance, energy, industry, or critical infrastructure.
• Ability to manage migration and modernization projects and create documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Knowledge of WAF, Load Balancer, API Security Gateway, IDS/IPS, WebProxy, MailProxy, MFA, redundancy mechanisms.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, SMTP, SSH, SFTP protocols, network security, and layered diagnostics.
• Understanding of access architecture design and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of traffic monitoring, threat detection including SIEM, AntiDoS/AntiDDoS, IKE/IPSec/X.509 transmission security, and PKI implementation.
• Knowledge of hardening principles, authentication protocols, Linux CentOS/RHEL, basic computer architecture, Threat Intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and SNORT system.
• Valid category B driving license.
• Proficient English language skills (minimum B1/B2).
• Availability to work night shifts during scheduled maintenance windows or emergency interventions.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of LAN network integration with Firewall/IPS-IDS/WAF/LB/AntiDoS/OpenShift technologies and willingness to develop LAN-WAN skills.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and DORA standards as well as scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• Passion for cybersecurity topics.

• Maintain security systems for colocation and office networks, analyze reports concerning system continuity, plan capacity and modernization.
• Implement network security solutions in projects, including cloud environments.
• Update technical documentation.
• Create and develop tools to improve and monitor security systems and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support audit processes applicable to ITCARD.
