Senior Java Backend Developer – Cloud and Microservices Expertise

This position is with a leading financial institution focusing on messaging solutions to enhance customer engagement in banking technology.

• Minimum of 5 years’ senior experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and Groovy.
• Expertise in API design standards: Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, and Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization via OAuth 2.0, with experience using Kong API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies, particularly TDD, and extensive Agile/Scrum development experience.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving ability focused on innovative, scalable solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with additional cloud services or certifications.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices beyond the core technologies listed.

• Develop high-quality applications/systems according to requirements and standards.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary, Agile product team to design and build distributed microservices using modern technology stacks.
