PMO Lead - Cybersecurity & IT Project Management

Our client operates within the financial services and technology sector, delivering complex IT and cybersecurity programmes across international markets. They focus on robust IT governance, risk management and information security frameworks that protect critical systems and data. With a global presence and diverse teams spanning multiple cultures, they prioritise structured project delivery, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent)
• More than 5 years of practical PMO or project management experience in IT-related environments
• Experience supporting projects within cybersecurity, information security, or cyber risk management
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience preparing executive-level materials
• Proficiency with PMO and collaboration tools: Microsoft Office, SharePoint, AzureDevOps, PowerBI, Confluence, and PPM tools
• Demonstrated ability to work globally across businesses and international cultures
• Excellent organisational skills with a communicative and proactive approach
• Ability to own activities independently and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Experience setting up project structures and frameworks from scratch
• Knowledge of IT governance rules and project management standards
• Capability to evaluate project maturity and drive continuous improvement

• Lead PMO activities within cybersecurity and information security environments
• Support strategic programmes across global businesses and international teams
• Work with executive-level stakeholders preparing dashboards and steering materials
• Leverage tools including PowerBI, AzureDevOps, Confluence, and SharePoint
• Build project structures from scratch in a fast-paced IT environment
• Support programme and project managers tracking deliverables, milestones, and progress
• Provide expertise on PMO standards, tools, processes, and methodologies to project managers
• Establish project administration structures including distribution lists, SharePoint sites, and communication channels
• Support budget preparation and financial reporting for programmes and projects
• Review existing solutions and recommend improvements aligned with IT governance rules
• Monitor the timeliness and quality of reported risks across programmes
• Update and maintain information within the PPM tool for end-to-end project management
• Evaluate project management maturity and recommend process improvements
• Deliver training and onboarding support for new project resources
• Ensure project management aligns with organisational standards and frameworks
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with governance requirements
