Functional Analyst - Technology Delivery Operations

Our client operates within the technology and software delivery sector, supporting complex operational frameworks that span governance, compliance and engineering delivery. They focus on maintaining robust processes that enable seamless collaboration across technical teams while driving efficiency through documentation and automation.

• 4-6 years of experience in administrative or operational roles
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking tools
• Proactive and autonomous working style with strong initiative
• Ownership mindset, treating open items as personal responsibilities
• Experience in technology or software delivery environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Teams
• Understanding of change management principles and practices
• Exposure to governance, compliance or audit processes (beneficial)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AI tools for process automation
• Understanding of the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira REST API

• Own day-to-day operational tasks across multiple active workstreams
• Maintain and update Jira boards and trackers based on stakeholder inputs
• Build collaborative relationships with Engineering Managers to support deliverables
• Document workflows and processes to facilitate future automation initiatives
• Attend operational meetings to capture actions and deadlines accurately
• Track open items through to resolution, ensuring nothing falls through gaps
• Support governance and compliance processes within the operational framework
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
