Software Engineer II, Mobile, Google Cloud

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users worldwide across areas including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile. The role involves contributing to a dynamic and agile team of around 10 mobile specialists developing and maintaining a mobile application for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its backend systems.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with backend development.
• Experience with Flutter and Dart.

• Develop and implement mobile architecture.
• Leverage artificial intelligence to enhance team performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality of mobile applications and backend systems.
• Engage in close collaboration with engineers and staff teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and proactively contribute to system maintainability enhancements.
