System Analyst / Payment Systems

Their client is one of the leading banks in Poland, with a long history and a broad range of financial services for individuals, corporations, and institutions. The bank is recognized for pioneering achievements such as the first credit card in Poland, a brokerage office, and biometric applications in banking, innovating with technologies including AI, automation, mobile apps, biometrics, Big Data, data science, and system architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role
• Experience in projects within the banking sector
• Knowledge of Payment Switch and Card Processing systems
• Experience with systems supporting payment card transactions
• Understanding of payment transaction authorization processes
• Familiarity with ATM and POS environments
• Skills in analyzing integrations between systems
• Experience creating functional and system specifications
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder collaboration

Nice to have:

• Experience with SWITCH Connex system

• Participate in the project focused on payment card systems and transaction processing
• Contribute to replacing the SWITCH Connex system for transaction handling and authorization
• Work on ATM and POS handlers responsible for communication with ATM networks and payment terminals
• Apply creativity and analytical thinking in the project
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners

Candidates must be available to work hybrid mode, attending the office in Warsaw 10-20 times per month. The client requires experience specifically with systems handling payment card transactions in banking. Contract type is B2B.
