Senior Java Developer

The client for this project is one of Poland's leading banks, notable for pioneering innovations such as the first credit card in Poland, biometric applications, and account setup via selfie. The bank actively engages in modern technologies including artificial intelligence, automation, mobile applications, biometrics, Big Data, data science, and system architecture and infrastructure.

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience programming in Java 8/11/17
• Minimum 2 years experience with Spring Boot
• Practical knowledge of Oracle, Elasticsearch, and Kafka
• Experience with Tomcat, Netty, Hazelcast, and Ehcache
• Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem and technologies supporting microservice development
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of security concepts: PKI, JWT, digital signatures, TLS/mTLS
• Experience using Git/Gerrit, Maven, Jira, IntelliJ, and CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and Loki

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications with Java and Spring Boot
• Creating and evolving microservices and APIs used by mobile applications
• Integrating systems using Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
• Collaborating on implementation of solutions based on Docker and Kubernetes
• Designing applications according to DDD (Domain-Driven Design) principles
• Ensuring code quality, testing, and performance optimization
• Working with analytical, business, and development teams
• Participating in CI/CD processes and production environment monitoring
• Implementing and maintaining security mechanisms compliant with banking standards
• Working with hexagonal architecture (Ports & Adapters)
