QA Engineer

Wakacje.pl is an e-commerce platform and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. Since 2015, it has been part of Wirtualna Polska Holding, Poland's largest group of media and e-commerce companies. The company, along with Travelplanet.pl and Invia brands across CEE, is building a unified travel group with a shared #TravelMindset. The IT team consists of over 100 specialists including Developers, DevOps Engineers, Testers, Project Managers, Architects, and Analysts working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• 2-4 years of experience in a Tester role
• Experience testing CRM and/or e-commerce applications
• Ability to create test cases and documentation, report, and analyze defects
• Knowledge of testing principles, techniques, processes, and software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with testing tools
• Experience working with Postman
• Basic knowledge of the HTTP protocol and REST API
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and curiosity
• Highly developed communication skills
• First experience in writing automated tests and willingness to develop in test automation
• Knowledge of English enabling comfortable use of technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java/C#)
• Initial experience with test automation using Selenium or Playwright
• Experience or willingness to participate in automation implementation and maintenance (Web/API)
• Ability to prepare automated test scenarios using BDD approaches such as Cucumber or Gherkin

• Manual testing (minimum 70% of full-time equivalent)
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for the main e-commerce platform (Web and API)
• Writing and executing automated test scenarios using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright
• Performing manual exploratory testing as needed
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders
• Collaborating with developers, other QA engineers, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Sharing testing knowledge and improving team's quality practices
