Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure and Automation

This position is with a global leader in the financial services industry focusing on cloud infrastructure transformation and automation in a regulated environment.

• Minimum 5 years experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS with practical cloud account and service management knowledge.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python or equivalent.
• Understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and agile workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Proven success delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Nice to have:

• AWS certification(s).
• Advanced Terraform skills.
• Linux or Windows certifications.
• Experience in non-functional testing and risk management.
• Knowledge from working in highly regulated industries.

• Support project teams in building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud systems aligned with business needs.
• Manage AWS accounts and operate key platform services maintaining performance and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable secure, efficient application launches and automation.
• Provide on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, and lead major incident investigations.
• Write clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
• Automate operational tasks and refine deployment pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices inside a regulated environment.
