• Higher education, preferably in computer science, mathematics, physics or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience working with data warehouses.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and technologies including Dimensional modeling (R. Kimball).
• Very good knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and at least basic knowledge of MS Analysis Services and MS Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of database performance monitoring and optimization tools (e.g., Resource Governor).
• Familiarity with data warehouse optimization techniques (e.g., query plan analysis, indexes, parameter sniffing).
• Experience with version control tools (Git, DevOps).
• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Communication skills.
• Initiative, creativity, accuracy, and efficiency.
• English language proficiency at least at a good level (spoken and written).
• Availability for full-time work.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow.

• Develop the Data Warehouse by translating business requirements to technical projects, designing and creating data integration (ETL) processes, developing source code for data feeding processes, testing solutions, and creating technical documentation.
• Monitor and maintain the Data Warehouse.
• Create optimized T-SQL and SnowSQL procedure codes, build SSIS packages using BIML.
• Analyze errors and implement and recommend changes.
